Dungeons & Moles

The First Descent · Devnet event

Event rules

One board for the whole event. Clear Campaign stages, fight in the Gauntlet, Duels and the Pit Draft, and finish quests. Every point comes from results confirmed on-chain.

Opens October 3, 2026 · 14:00 UTC

The 10,000-point core

What Campaign, your best 14 days and weekly quests can add up to, by category. Every other day you play adds 10% of its total on top, so there is no ceiling.

Points below are rounded to one decimal. The board keeps the exact fractions.

  1. 1.Campaign: first clears only

Clearing a stage for the first time during the event scores once. Clearing it again scores nothing. Deeper Acts are worth more: Act 1 stages 40 points each, Act 2 stages 80 points each, Act 3 stages 120 points each, Act 4 stages 160 points each.

All 40 stages together are worth 4,000 points.

  2. 2.The day resets at 00:00 UTC

The Gauntlet, Duels and the Pit Draft each have a daily cap. Once you reach a mode's cap, more play in that mode adds nothing that day, so switch modes or come back tomorrow.

A run or match counts on the UTC day its result is confirmed on-chain, not the day it started. A run finished at 00:10 counts toward the new day.

    Daily caps
    Gauntlet114.3 pts
    Duels85.7 pts
    Pit Draft85.7 pts
  3. 3.Gauntlet: every week cleared counts

Each week you clear is worth more than the one before. A full five-week victory reaches the day's Gauntlet cap in one run; shorter runs add up toward it.

A run that ends in defeat keeps the weeks it cleared. Abandoning a run forfeits all of its points. Closing the app is not abandoning: resume and finish the run.

    One run, by weeks cleared
    1 week7.6 pts
    2 weeks22.9 pts
    3 weeks45.7 pts
    4 weeks76.2 pts
    5 weeks114.3 pts
  4. 4.Duels and the Pit Draft: show up, then win

Your first finished match of the day in each mode earns 8.6 points, win or lose. Each win earns 25.7.

Three wins plus your first match reach the mode's daily cap. Losses after the first match add nothing, and abandoned matches never count.

A Duel win only counts when both players' runs finish and the fight is actually resolved. If your opponent's run doesn't finish -- they quit, or their session is closed -- you get no win and no points for that match. You still keep the Participant Title, since your own run finished; you just don't get paid in points for an opponent who didn't show up.

  5. 5.Quests

Each daily quest you complete earns 35.7 points, up to 2 a day. Daily quest points count toward that day's total.

Weekly quests are worth up to a tenth of the score. One week's board pays half of that; the other half needs a second week. Each weekly completion earns 166.7 points, up to 6.

Points come when a quest is completed, not when you claim its reward. Every step of the quest must happen during the event.

  6. 6.Your best 14 days count most

Each day's Gauntlet, Duel, Pit Draft and daily-quest points make that day's total. Your 14 best days count in full, in any order and not necessarily in a row. A better day later replaces a weaker one.

Every other day counts at 10% of its total, so coming back always adds something, even after your best days are full.

Campaign clears and weekly quests are added on top, outside the daily totals.

  7. 7.Who can take part

You must be 18 or older. Taking part must be legal where you live; the event is void where it isn't, and we may exclude a region if the law requires it.

Taking part is free. The event runs on Solana devnet, where SOL comes free from a faucet and has no value. You never pay real money to play, to link X or to receive a prize.

The organiser can play and appear on the board, but can't win prizes. The next eligible player takes the place.

  8. 8.What counts

Only on-chain play with a connected wallet counts. Guest play does not appear on the Global Rank.

A run or match counts when it starts after the event opens and its result is confirmed before scoring closes. Everyone starts fresh: devnet is reset for the event.

Moving, digging, field fights, points of interest and trades don't score directly. They can still complete quests.

  9. 9.Ties

If two players have the same score, whoever reached it first on-chain ranks higher.

  10. 10.Appear on the board: link X

To appear on the public board, connect your X account on this site and sign with your event wallet. Your score so far comes with you: linking late costs nothing.

One X account can link to one wallet, and the link is locked for the whole event. Check both before you confirm.

The board shows your in-game name. Your X handle stays hidden unless you choose to show it.

Link before scoring closes, or you can't win a prize.

  11. 11.When it ends

The event runs until Solana's full rent reduction is live on mainnet. Then we announce a 48-hour Final Countdown with the exact UTC time scoring closes, shown here on the board.

Results confirmed after that moment don't count.

  12. 12.Prizes

Top 25: an exclusive event mole skin. Only 25 will ever exist, and it will never be reissued. You can keep, gift or sell it.

Top 3: a title for 1st, 2nd or 3rd place, on top of the skin.

Everyone who finishes at least one eligible run or match, win or lose, earns the Participant Title.

Prizes are delivered in the mainnet game to the same wallet that earned them, so keep that wallet. Titles stay with that wallet. There is no token, airdrop or cash prize.

Prizes are game cosmetics with no cash value and can't be exchanged for money. We make no promise about what a skin could sell for, or that anyone will buy it.

  13. 13.Fair play and winners

One prize-winning entry per person, even across several wallets. We review potential winners by hand before awards are final, and flagged players get to respond.

Bots, scripts, exploiting bugs and arranging match results with other players are not allowed. Points earned that way are removed, and the entry can lose its prizes.

Winners are announced on this board and on X, with a deadline for each wallet. You then have 14 days to follow @DungeonsMoles, join our Discord and complete verification. If you miss it, the prize passes to the next eligible player.

  14. 14.Your data

Linking stores your wallet address, your X user ID and handle, when you linked and whether your handle is shown. We use them to run the board, review winners and deliver prizes. From X we read only your user ID and handle, and we never post for you.

Scores come from public on-chain results. The Privacy Policy covers the rest, including how to ask us to delete your data.

  15. 15.Changes and the fine print

The First Descent is run by Ailton Sávio Sacramento Júnior, an individual based in Brazil, who makes Dungeons & Moles.

If a rule has to change during the event, the change is posted on this page with its date and announced on X and Discord before it applies.

These rules add to the Terms of Service. Where they differ, these rules decide for this event, including the delivery of its prizes on mainnet. Questions: legal@dungeonsandmoles.com.

Standings stay provisional until winners are reviewed.
